Your privacy is important to Pick & Drop Pvt. Ltd. (“Pick & Drop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, share, and protect information collected through the Pick & Drop Rider App.
The Pick & Drop Rider App is an internal application developed for authorized Pick & Drop employees, riders, and operational team members. This application is not intended for public users. Access is limited to approved personnel who use the application for delivery operations, rider management, and internal business activities.
To provide and manage rider operations, Pick & Drop may collect the following information:
Rider and employee information, including name, phone number, employee ID, profile details, and other identification information required for operational purposes.
Device information, including device ID, mobile operating system, application version, and technical information required for application security and performance.
Location information, including real-time GPS location, current position, delivery routes, pickup locations, drop-off locations, and movement information while performing assigned tasks.
Delivery and operational information, including assigned deliveries, delivery status, completed tasks, delivery history, and operational activity records.
Information submitted through the application, including photos, documents, proof of delivery, and other details required to complete delivery operations.
The Pick & Drop Rider App requires location access to support delivery operations and improve service efficiency.
Where required for an active shift or assigned delivery, the app may collect precise location while it is open or running in the background, including when it is minimized or not actively in use. Background location is used only to support delivery assignment, navigation, progress tracking, verification, operational planning, and rider safety during authorized work activities.
Users may disable location permission in their device settings. Doing so may prevent core delivery features from working correctly.
Location information may be collected to:
Assign delivery tasks to riders.
Provide accurate navigation and route assistance.
Track delivery progress and completion status.
Verify delivery activities.
Improve operational planning and rider safety.
Monitor and maintain the quality of delivery services.
Location tracking is only used for authorized Pick & Drop business purposes and is not used for personal tracking outside operational requirements.
Pick & Drop uses collected information for internal operational purposes, including:
Managing rider accounts and access.
Assigning and monitoring delivery tasks.
Improving delivery efficiency and operational processes.
Providing navigation and route support.
Maintaining delivery records and reports.
Supporting rider safety, security, and service quality.
Providing technical support and improving the Rider App experience.
Pick & Drop does not sell, rent, or publicly share rider information.
Information collected through the Rider App may only be accessed or shared with:
Authorized Pick & Drop employees and departments.
Internal systems required for delivery and operational management.
Approved service providers supporting Pick & Drop operations.
Government authorities or legal bodies when required by applicable laws.
Pick & Drop may use approved providers for mapping and navigation, cloud hosting and storage, push notifications, technical support, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers may process only the information necessary to provide their services and must protect it under contractual, confidentiality, and security requirements consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Pick & Drop requires service providers that receive Rider App information to provide the same or an equivalent level of protection and to use the information only for authorized purposes.
Pick & Drop takes reasonable security measures to protect collected information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration.
Access to Rider App information is restricted to authorized personnel who require the information for business operations.
Pick & Drop retains rider information only for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain operational records, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and improve internal processes.
When information is no longer required, it may be securely deleted or anonymized.
Retention periods depend on the type of information and the operational, safety, dispute-resolution, security, and legal purposes for which it is maintained. Location records, delivery history, proof of delivery, photographs, and submitted documents are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Certain records may be kept longer when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Authorized users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with the Rider App by emailing [email protected]. Pick & Drop may verify the requester’s identity and may retain information that must be kept for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or operational recordkeeping purposes.
Users may withdraw location, camera, photo, or notification permissions through their device settings. Withdrawing a permission may limit or disable app features that depend on it. Rider accounts are issued and managed by Pick & Drop; users may request account closure and deletion of associated personal information by contacting Pick & Drop. Account disabling alone does not delete records that Pick & Drop is required or permitted to retain.
Users of the Pick & Drop Rider App are responsible for:
Keeping login credentials secure.
Using the application only for authorized work purposes.
Providing accurate delivery and operational information.
Reporting any unauthorized access or security concerns.
The Pick & Drop Rider App is designed only for internal company operations. Information collected through this application is handled responsibly and used only to support Pick & Drop services, delivery management, and business activities.
Pick & Drop may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in company processes, technology, or operational requirements. Updated policies will be communicated through appropriate internal channels.
